Leryn Franco is a Paraguayan model, actress, and former athlete who currently works for the athletics department of Club Sol de America. She participated in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympics competing in the javelin throw.
Leryn Franco was born on March 1, 1982, in Asuncion, Paraguay. She played football before pursuing javelin.
On June 8, 2012, Leryn Franco achieved a personal best throw of 57.77 m in Barquisimeto, Venezuela at the 2012 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics. Her achievement also became the new national record, having surpassed the previous record of 55.66 m, which схе threw at the 2011 South American Championships in Athletics.
Leryn Franco has one bronze and one silver medals from the South American Championships, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. Also, she won silver medals in ALBA Games in 2011 and Ibero-American Championships in 2012. Leryn Franco is also twice a national champion in Javelin throw of Paraguay in 2013 and 2014.
