Svetlana Aplachkina is a Russian track and field athlete in long-distance running. She competes in 1,500 m, 3,000 m, and 5,000 m.
Svetlana Aplachkina was born on November 28, 1992, in Altaisk krai, Voronezh, Russia. She started training in athletics from an early age and took part in local tournaments.
In 2016, she win the Russian Indoor Championships at 3,000 m with a time of 8:59.94. In 2021, she won two gold medals at the Russian Indoor Track and Field Championships in Moscow. In June 2021, Svetlana Aplachkina won the women’s 5,000 m race as part of the 2021 Russian national track and field championships at Olimpiysky Stadium.
